Charie Zanck is Vice Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of American Community Bank & Trust. She was an organizer of the bank, which opened in March 2000 and currently has ~$500 million in assets. Prior to her current position, Charie was group vice president-banking with a $4.5 billion holding company headquartered in northern Illinois. She holds an MBA in Finance from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
Charie is past chairman and a current member of Centegra Health Systems board of governors. She is a past board chairman of the Illinois Bankers Association, Challenger Learning Center for Science and Technology, McHenry County Economic Development Corporation, Woodstock Economic Development Corporation, Friends of McHenry County College Foundation, Woodstock Business and Professional Women, and Woodstock Chamber of Commerce. She has also served as a board member of numerous organizations including Leadership Greater McHenry County and United Way of McHenry County.
Andy Hartlieb has served as President of the bank since its inception in 1999. Born and raised in Woodstock, he attended Marian Central Catholic High School. In addition to his Bachelor of Business Administration Degree from the University of Wisconsin Madison with a double major in Finance and Marketing, he is also a graduate of the University of Wisconsin Graduate School of Banking. He is a founder, vice president and current board member of the Gavers Community Cancer Foundation, a non-profit organization focused on cancer research, screenings and awareness. Andy serves at St. Mary Parish on the Finance Council and with the Youth Ministry team. Andy and his wife Diane have three children and reside in Woodstock.
Rick Francois is co-founder of American Community Bank & Trust where he serves as Executive Vice President and Chief Credit Officer. He has over 25 years of banking experience with a focus on serving privately held and family owned businesses in McHenry County. Rick is a native of Dubuque, Iowa and graduated with High Distinction from The University of Iowa with a Bachelor of Business Administration Degree with a major in Finance. Rick has been active in the community through board positions and volunteer roles including The Church of Holy Apostles, Illinois Bankers Association, Woodstock Economic Development Commission, United Way of McHenry County, Adult & Child Therapy Services, Veteran’s Salute and Gavers Community Cancer Foundation.
